Moving Up
TLC is currently casting for the fourth season of the hit series Moving Up, hosted by Trading Spaces star Doug Wilson.
This year, realtors who help us find people who are cast in the show receive a $1,000 finder's fee.
We're looking for outgoing, opinionated couples or individuals who are selling their current home and are in contract for a new one, or are currently renters and are buying a home. They must have plans to move sometime between end of February and July of this year.
Please note: Interested candidates must still occupy their current home. Buyers moving into a home that is already vacant are not eligible.
These folks must have big plans to renovate the home that they are buying or strong ideas on how they will dramatically alter the décor of their new house.
They should have a strong point of view when it comes to style, and be the kind of compelling people you yourself might watch on TV.
Any clients chosen for the show will surely thank you and spread the word about your business, since they'll be receiving a payment for their participation as well as free or substantially discounted products and services that will assist them in moving and the renovation of their new home.
They'll also receive free advice from Doug Wilson, who will offer them the design expertise he shares with celebrity clients ranging from Lindsay Lohan to Barbara Walters. TLC is here to help your clients make their design dreams come true!

How it Works:
We will follow a family in four basic stages:
Film each family before they pack and move out of their old house.
Film each family in the process of moving from their old to new home.
Film the family as they renovate their new home.
After 3 months, we film the families as they return to their former home to see what they think of how the new people have redecorated it.
This applies to the A&B families. Family C is filmed before they pack and move out, and when they revisit their old digs.
What the families receive:
A- $2,000 just for being on the show. Assistance from show with home renovations/décor changes.
B-$2,000 just for being on the show.. Assistance from show with home renovations/décor changes.
C-$1,000 just for being on the show. We will pay for all travel arrangements when they return to see the changes of their former home, if they are moving out of state.
In the past, we have gotten all three families moving trucks for the day of their move.
About the Show:
Each episode follows three families as they move into their new houses, while struggling to leave their old homes behind. We will watch as they each spend the next few months remodeling, decorating and transforming their new spaces into their own. Moving UP is ultimately about the choices we make to turn a house into a home. After a few months, we will bring the former owners back to see what they make of the new changes.
Trading Spaces designer Doug Wilson hosts Moving UP, guiding our homeowners through the moving and remodeling process. He will meet the families before they move, and visit over the next few months to observe how the renovations are coming.
Moving UP is not a traditional home make-over show. Our team documents how the homeowner chooses to change their new house to match their personal taste in design. The homeowners are the tastemakers - the true stars of the show!
