In 2008 the Board of Directors of WPMLS approved a partnership with Listingbook LLC, a North Carolina company that has developed a very useful add-on product for MLSs named, not surprisingly, Listingbook™.  If you have not already been contacted by Listingbook, you will in the near future hear from them and/or WPMLS about training sessions and other opportunities for learning about this exciting productivity tool.

Basically, Listingbook™ provides a structure for you to be able to keep your clients and customers automatically posted as to general market conditions and activity on their listings.  It’s like having a virtual assistant who deals with those every-day questions such as what’s selling in the neighborhood, what’s the price competition like, how much activity is there, and so on.  The product is thoroughly integrated with the WPMLS database, and you decide which of your clients gets access. There’s too much to describe in a message like this – that’s why we have training sessions coming up.

Listingbook™ is entirely free.  The way the company makes money is by marketing enhancements to you.  Your MLS Services Committee and Board of Dierctors think that the core free services are going to be extremely helpful to you with or without enhancements.  The product is installed on the Long Island MLS, and other MLSs, and is receiving rave reviews.
